World Mission Agency – Mission to Canada (Winners Chapel International Canada) is seeking a strategic, people-focused, and experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to lead and strengthen people operations across Mission to Canada.

About this role
This role will serve as a trusted advisor to national and district leadership, aligning people strategy with organizational mission while ensuring compliance with Canadian employment legislation and fostering a healthy workplace culture.
Key responsibilities
What this role will own across Mission to Canada operations.
Strategic HR Partnership
- Partner with national and district leadership on workforce planning.
- Provide strategic HR counsel to pastors and ministry leaders.
- Support organizational design and change initiatives.
- Assist succession planning and leadership pipeline development.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Lead full-cycle recruitment processes.
- Develop job descriptions and competency frameworks.
- Coordinate onboarding programs.
- Build ministry recruitment pipelines.
Employee Relations
- Provide guidance on workplace concerns and conflict resolution.
- Support grievance investigations and resolution.
- Promote psychologically safe workplace practices.
- Manage accommodation requests.
HR Compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal and provincial employment legislation.
- Maintain HR policies and employee handbook standards.
- Support employment contract administration.
- Coordinate payroll-related HR records.
Learning & Performance Development
- Design and administer performance review systems.
- Coordinate leadership development initiatives.
- Support manager coaching and performance planning.
HR Operations
- Maintain HRIS systems.
- Produce workforce analytics and reports.
- Support benefits administration.
- Coordinate compensation review processes.
Required qualifications
What you'll bring to the role.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related discipline (required).
- Master's degree (preferred).
Professional Designations
- CPHR (required or in progress).
Experience
- Minimum 5–7 years progressive HR experience.
- Minimum 2–3 years in HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist role.
- Experience in multi-site organizations preferred.
- Faith-based / non-profit experience highly desirable.

- Knowledge of Canadian employment law.
